    • When do HOA dues need to be paid?

      Dues invoices are sent out within the first quarter of every calendar year. The payment due date is shown on the invoice. Mailed payments must be post-marked by the due date to prevent incurring a late fee.  PayPal payments must be sent by the due date to prevent incurring a late fee.

    • How do I pay my dues?

      Payment instructions are included on the invoice. Dues payments can be made via PayPal or by check.

        • Make your Check/Money Order out to: Hilliard-Rome Road Homeowners Association
        • Include your property address with your payment so it can be applied. Checks received without the property address indicated will be voided and the account will remain unpaid.

        • Go to www.PayPal.com (or use the App)
        • Login or sign up and click 'Send Money'
        • Enter the payment recipient as: HilliardCoventry.HOA@gmail.com
        • In the note section of the payment, please clearly indicate the Property Address for which you are making the payment. Payments with no address will be returned and the account will remain unpaid.
    • What happens if I do not pay my annual HOA dues?

      If your dues payment is not post-marked or sent by the due date indicated on the dues invoice, your account will be considered unpaid. An automatic late fee of $5.00 plus 1.5% interest will be applied to your account for each month payment is not received. 

    • Why did dues increase?

      Beginning with the 2021 Annual Dues Invoice, annual dues have increased to $50.00.

      Since the inception of the HOA, annual dues remained just $25.00. This amount was set in the early 1990s and was determined based off of the costs at that time for landscaping around The Coventry signs at the intersection of Hilliard-Rome Road and Reebok Drive, electricity for said signs, legal fees for collecting unpaid dues, office supplies, and postage for mailing communications and invoices to residents.

      As thirty years have passed, costs for landscaping, electricity, legal fees, office supplies, and postage have been severely affected by inflation. This has, unfortunately, resulted in the inability of the $25.00 annual dues from each homeowner to cover these expenses. As these costs are necessary for the Hilliard-Rome Road Homeowners Association to function, the HOA board called a special meeting via Zoom on 2/16/2021 to vote on an increase to $50.00 annually. The motion passed.

    • What are dues used for?
